Hi everyone,

I've been absent for a few days (incase you didn't notice). We went to the Columbus, OH Goodguys event. What a great weekend.

Soooooooooooooo many beautiful cars & trucks & women. (did I say women?)

My g/f & I walked so much. I had to take today off work to rest up. [sm=icon_rofl.gif]

We got to the fairgrounds friday about 1pm and walked till 4. Went to supper then headed over to the host hotel to hang out with those guys.
Saturday up by 7am, breakfast, then got to Goodguys before 9. Stayed till 4pm and all we did was walk the entire time. (Okay I got stopped like1,000 times by people wanting to know why I didn't drive a '57 to the event?)
Saturday evening after supper we cruised for a bit. Checking out the nearby hotels to see who/what was around? Then we stopped at the host hotel and hung out with people I know till about 10pm.
Sunday I let my g/f sleep late (8am) then after breakfast we loaded up the car and headed back to Goodguys till about 2pm.

I took like 200 photos. When I get a few uploaded I'll post a link.

I also think next year I'd better bring a '57 or I just might be in trouble?

Goodguys holds like 18 events across the US from like may till september. It's suppose to be 1972 and down but I saw 1979 T/As and Camaros there.

I guess Columbus is a fun place to be? I didn't get arrested at any show bars so I guess things were fine?

I personally saw vehicle number 6238 at Goodguys on sunday. But I hear it's nothing compared to the 12,000 rods that show up at the Hot Rod Nationals in Louisville, KY coming up in august.

Not sure of the year of the Hot Rod? I believe it's close to a '32 - 33 Furd coupe.

The Smurf wheels are just too cool guys n gals. I may need to buy a set?

 

When the show was here, all rods had to be before 1960, but most were 32 thru 40.

 

Goodguys claims they only let in 1972 and down vehicles. But I saw T/As and Camaros the same vintage as the cars used in Smokie & The Bandit. Which is late '70s.
