Neither of my parents smoked and I count that as a huge influence on me not smoking, even though others may have picked up the habit with non-smoking parents. I also had asthma so I avoided it. Even though all my friends smoked, they never pressured me to do it, probably because of the asthma. Funny thing is, I know people with asthma that smoke. Go figure.

 

Quitting over 2 years ago was the best thing I ever did.

 

That sucks, Ive been around 2nd hand smoke all my life. Its nice having your clothes/house smelling like some -_-..... Not to mention every throat problem I could imaging. Please, if you smoke, stop for the sake of your kids.

 

^^ i have also been around second hand smoke all my life, mom finally quit smoking.. but my fiance does ( trust me im urging him to quit) an so do my dad, little sister.. ive never had the urge to ever touch one.. completely pointless if you ask me, and a waste of moeny, good health.. Hope your dads goina be ok

 

I am sitting here with 53 minutes left until the end of my shift and the ONLY thing I can think about is, "I want a cigarette." I can't help it. I know better but I can't get around it.
