I called on Wednesday to see about getting my car in the have the tranny looked at to see if there's anything they can do about the issue I have when I slow down to say 5mph then press the gas, it clunks, like the torque converter is taking too long to engage. Anyway, the dude told me they don't normally do this type of work on the weekend, it's mainly maintenance, but he'd hook me up if I could bring it in at 8:30am saturday. So I get there and get told they don't have anyone there who's qualified to diagnose the tranny issue, I was a little heated. I realized it wasn't her fault, but I kept talking to her and she finally offers me an Impala if I could come back in the afternoon cause they'd have to keep my car till at least monday for diagnosis. Works for me! My only issue is that I don't think they're gonna cover it under warranty cause I didn't get the 30k service done, it's like $500, and i'm at 32k right now. But I've been having the problem since 29k, when I first got the car, I guess I'll have to wait and see. The car better be a loaner though, not a rental cause I ain't paying a dime, I'd rather take it to another dealer who can give me a loaner.

 

Dealers are great huh.... lol


I've been pretty lucky with my dealer on this car, they have been great about fixing problems under warranty..

Wow! I didn't even get a phone call from them[:@] Well, car won't be looked at until next week sometime. Yeah, I hope to get a new Impala too, that's be sweet!
