Happy B'day, RJ!
I feel your pain on turning 51, PUPPY!
As for the glasses, I wore them since 4th grade, VERY near sighted, 39 years of glasses. 7 years ago, I got LASIK surgery. BEST thing I ever did for myself. Haven't wore prescription glasses since! Check into it. If you got a FLEX plan, you can pre-plan the procedure, and write it off that way. I did. $2,200 turned into $1,500/52, or about $29/week for a year.
If I shaved off this damned white mustache, and trimmed and colored my hair, I could EASILY pass for 40, or younger. Don't be afraid to do things for yourself. Your G/F will appreciate it, too!

Wayne, there's still some color in my hair although I hear the "Your hair sure is getting grey." comments at work. Like none of them color their hair. (RIGHT!)
Maybe............ my job is turning my hair grey?
Used to be our insurance paid for the lasik 100%. No cost to me. Now I'm not sure what it is?
I'm not allowed any facial hair so that's no problem there.
Personally I think I could pass for 40s.
When I was 28 I went to Mrytle Beach that summer. One night a group of teenagers asked me to hang out with them. I told them I was 28 years old and everyone of them mouths dropped open.

I now am offiically no longer in my 40's. about 6 months ago I had to get reading glasses too. a couple of weeks ago I visited my daughter at college and her friends and roomates were kind enough to say I looked 35. I have a diamond in my left ear and I shaved off my mustache a year ago that I had for 30 years. the wife and kids said I looked alot younger with it gone. but no more mustache rides for the wife (haha). at least with the monte I have a cool car and fell younger just driving it. I just wish I had the wisdom and smarts that come with being 50.

I haven't had a mustache since I was 22. My then girlfriend went to New York City to visit grandma and relatives. While she was gone I shaved and had my longer then shoulder length hair cut off short. She came home and almost walked past me at the airport.
When I was 17 we went to Daytona Beach, FL. I met these two kids from Canada there on vacation. The younger one called me "Mr. Mustache." HA!

Glasses since the 6th grade for astigmatism (sp?). Thought about lasik but I'm a big chicken, I worry about the "what ifs". Right now I can see, but if they screw up or I get an infection, then I might not.
