Nice pics Mitch. I have a few suggestions for you. Take the front plate off for the pics. I would also take the stuff down from the mirror and dash area. Lastly you could clean the tread areas of the tires with some cleaner. Not like tire shine to make them shiney just clean.

Agreed! I only had a small period of time from like 12-3 so we didn't get to do any setting shots unfortunately

Thanks, thanks for the suggestions also!

We were driving around quite a bit for these, we actually had a run-in with a Roush Mustang and Trans Am before this, we were having more fun than just photos haha

I agree with the stuff on the mirror and dash, he really just wanted it to show how he has his car all the time. Since we were driving around he also didn't wanna pull the plate.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Not bad, my favorite pic is the one where it's dragging the road lol

And while it looks like a heap, it would probably rape 80% of the cars up here

Try and keep the sun at your back. The brighter it is I tend to take a F/stop out for exposure. I also like more dimly lit photos since it brings out colors more.

Strictly my opinion though.

Invest in a polarizing filter to help with the harsh sun thats assuming your using a dslr

Nice pics, I like the one with the monte in it

the problem with a polarizing filter is that he's going to have to take about 4 pictures and then put them all together.

I do it, but I also try to not have that problem in the first place by not shooting at high noon haha.

I agree, unfortunately the sun was on the side of what we wanted in the background, didn't help that the sun was basically in the middle of the sky haha

The moving one shows that it's probably a dslr

I don't like using filters as they can ruin the quality a bit and usually you can get the same effects by changing settings a bit.

I agree, the Monte one is the best one

Thanks!

You need to know how to use the filters without cutting quality

You can't, even with the highest quality filters. There's plenty of people that use them and of those people plenty that know they cut quality slightly. Some are very hard to notice but I still don't like the idea lol

Mitch a polarizing filter blocks the sun glare on windows, it doesn't cut the quality, just makes you use a slightly longer shutter speed.

As you rotate the filter you can get the sun to glare on different spots of the car, shoot 4 pictures with the sun NOT glaring on the car, then combine those 4 shots into 1 good shot of the car with no glare.
