Default 2012 an exciting year for cars.

It looks like 2012 is going to be an exciting year for cars. Alot of models are being redesigned, alot of new technology is coming in and so on. I think one of my favorite things is the new Tesla sedan. Now that is an electric car i'd drive Here is the article, Practical sedans: The most anticipated cars of 2012 - Yahoo! Autos
What is everyone else looking forward to?

I personally don't look forward to new cars anymore. In years past when they were face lifted every year and had less technology it was much more exciting. New cars have become too expensive. The car magazines are writing that 25 and 30 thousand are reasonable prices for a new car. I'm sorry but I can't buy that. I may be stuck in the past but 20 grand should be more than enough to buy an average family sedan or minivan. I will probably never buy another new car.

with all the new fuel economy regulations, new technology and just pure inflation i think the day of the 20k family car are pretty well gone. Unless you bought a very basic chevy malibue, starting at 21k and Ford Fusion starts actually at 19k. When i say family car i mean, atleast mid size. No silly 4 door econoboxes here.
