Default 150 MPG ?

Is this what we are going to have to drive in our future ?(I'm glad that someone is designing cars that we mightbe able to afford to get from point A to B : )[:-]

"Simple, clever, fun" is the Loremo's motto. Its five-speed manual transmission and minimalist interior lend themselves to efficiency and simplicity.

Loremo, which stands for "low resistance mobile," combines an efficient diesel engine with low weight and minimal drag to get upwards of 150 mpg.

[b]The idea is deceptively simple. Forget about fancy batteries, regenerative braking, and alternative fuels. Instead, make a car that's elegant in its minimalism and efficiency. The Loremo's German designers revisited the basics — engine efficiency, low weight

Diesels are an immediate fix for an otherwise problematic addiction to oil.

Hydrogen will eventually have to be the way to go though.

I'm still an electric power fan, produced cheaply with wind turbines. Just need to have a backup gasoline vehicle for long trips.
