Guy has probably made a net profit of $100,000,000 or better in the time he's been an owner... at least.... that means after buying cars and and paying crew....

I think that's a bit of an excessive fine... no matter how much he's made. Drivers get $25,000 and this makes it look like they're going easy on you. He could have payed someone a few grand to go kick Kyle Busch's @$$... heck, half the people in that infield would do it if you just asked nicely and gave them a good reason.

But from Childress' standpoint... how much money has he spent fixing his cars after Kyle Busch wrecked them? Busch wasted a set of tires when he turned Kevin Harvick... then he had to pay his fabrication shop to fix the front end... now he has to pay his fabricators to repaint and re letter the side of that truck over a BS incident... the incident apparently ebing that Kyle Busch doesn't like being passed by some hot shot new rookie on the final turn for 5th position. I'd get tired of Busch doing this stuff too.

 

Maybe you should get in on our fantasy league since you seem to follow the sport.... you could win some races anyway! The Pocono thread is up!

No, Richard Childress is old enough and been around the sport long enough to know how to kick @$$ when the camera's aren't rolling.

I think if he had just waved a $100 in the infield and said this goes to whoever knocks out Kyle Busch, he would have ended up owning about $150,000 to fans anyway.... so it doesn't matter.

My brother says we should pass a collection plate at the races... he thinks we could raise that kind of money in a couple of weeks to pay the fine for him.
