I homemade PC with parts about 3 years old. Laptop is about 3.5 years old. Spending too much money on mods and having fun.

I've got a compaq desktop (cant remember the number cuz I painted over it when I painted the case black). Never had a problem with it. Always works just as it should. I've done some mods to it. Heres the current specs:
AMD Athlon64 3500 2.19GHz
2 GB ram
ATi X300SE graphics
200GB hardrive
1- DL DVD-R/RW drive
1-CD-R/RW drive

total cost is prob right under $1000 right now, im happy with it
as for internet I have high-speed cable, I did a connection speed test and got around 9mb/s, which is pretty fast for my area
