And dont bet on the Monte being discontinued....expect the new Impala and MC to be built on the same platform as the 06 GTO. Can you imagine the MC with the LS2 and a six speed? Talk about being able to do NASCAR style burnouts!

Not to me mean or anything, but 2007 was the last year for the current generation MC. Insiders at GM have said that it will NOT be coming back due to its very poor sales. The Camaro is going to be the next RWD V8 coupe for Chevy.
