Default Whats in your air box?
New Member, been lurking since late last year. Picked up my 2004 Monte Carlo SS, Supercharged last January after spending quite some time looking. This is my third Monte Carlo, the first a 1972, remains the favorite car I have ever owned. Was my first decent car. Also had a 1977 along the way.

Went to install my K&N Drop in filter and my ZZP 1.0 PCM today, and found I have had a passenger. No damage I could see, thankfully. Sure gave a particular odor to the job.

Yup, sometimes I think that's the real purpose of the air box. I found a nest in mine when I did the intake swap!

I have a blower where my airbox should be

Back when I was putting an intake on the car, I also had a critter nest in there. It was pretty gross.

ive seen this happen to many people

Had a next in my air box too when i switched to a cai. Not sure where the picture is.
