Welcome to a great site. And a lot of GOOD people. I have a 70 Chevelle. My numbers are on the drivers side between the dash pad the the windshield. Its on a thin piece of metal about 2 1/2 inches long....GOOD luck..

That was the first place i looked and the doos are not on the car being that they are being worked on and im not that familiar with older cars. This is my first older car. I am more familiar with 80s GM cars being that those were the cars we all had in the lowrider scene. And thank you all for the welcome and to all those who responded, I will look into that website also. Thanks again.

And I dont believe that this car has ever been restored being that it is not in very good condition and the person I purchased the car from really knows nothing about cars. I do know that it is a California car but thats all i know and that it has a 383 in it.
