swapping my 3.5 to a 5.7
The custom frame was finished way back in like 2015. They didn't even start putting a body on it until like 18/19. Given he's posting progress now like once a month (even if they're small), its still a huge improvement from how slowly things used to move.

Tons of people considering, less than a handful will ever actually do anything about it. People run out of steam pretty quick when they realize the huge amount of work+skill (or the huge cost to drop it off somewhere) involved. The topic of rwd swaps comes up probably once a week on one of the various W body pages, but only a handful have made it to completion. You've definitely got to have an absurdly close bond with a car to go through all of that when there are plentiful amounts of cheap RWD performance cars already on the market.
This specific thread on rear ends was an impossible one from the start. No details whatsoever on intended use, power level, or most importantly what chassis was going to be used for the swap itself.

I do have to agree with Bumpin. This thread has long been dead for 3-4 years when you bumped it the first time, then went dead another 2 years and you gave it a fresh bump. I could see if we had a newbie log in and respond to this (as many often resurrect a dead thread) providing a response. Stop getting our hopes up that someone is up to something neat lol!
