In Florida we don't have much rust. Nice winters and no salt trucks. However, the moisture does do a job on the electical connections. The sun does a job on paint. Then there are the blasted oak trees. My '95 sat in the driveway for the last seven years while I was working out of town and got very little mileage during that time. Let a car sit outside and the annoles move in (small lizard, think gecko) Just imagine driving down the road and a lizard pops up from below the hood at the wiper.

Pictures?...... naw, but I have the technology. I'll post one.

I'd say wait till the annole gets into range of the wiper blade, then turn the wipers on high speed. Watch that sucker fly!
