Default Service Traction lock...

Ok, i have to unplug that aluminum block under the hood on the driver side that has them brake lines comeing out of it. im not shure what its calld because iv'e never owned anything this new before so im not very familiar with this stuff yet. im a freightliner tech and thay are totaly differant so anyway when i plug it in and drive it down the road and then i stop at say a traffic light or a store or where ever. and then i go to take off it acts like it wants to lock up or grab but then it like releases. but then i unplug it and the light comes on and and it sais service traction system and then she rides out fine. so service traction system could someone please explain how do you service a traction system can i do it or dose it have to be taken to a dealership could someone let me know please....

It shouldn't be any different than working on antilock brakes. It should just have a different processor and sensors.

These wheel hub assemblies have everything built into the unit. If you have the ABS light lit up, you can have a dealership read the ABS code and tell you which you need to replace.
