Thanks guys.. yeah 1955 was a good year! I remember the late 50s early 60s and how much different things are from today…. Haven’t done much with my cars over the past couple of yrs. my Monte was parked in a buddies garage all that time. my girlfriend had lung cancer so I became a 24/7 caregiver to her starting early 2012.. after two surgeries, chemo and radiation all is better she’s cancer free!! Missing half her left lung and 3 ribs on her left side but she’s gonna be fine now.

BTW anyone had experience with one of these.. I can only get 2 cars in my garage...

10'Wx20'Lx8'H Economy Portable Garage Shelters

I don't like leaving my cars out... thanks..

Those type of shelters work well enough for people out here in Utah. Insure you have it anchored down very well to protect from those high wind gusts and if you get a snow load building up on them, knock it off reguarly as they can collapse and really dent and scratch the heck out of your car or boat. Seen it happen out here driving by peoples homes, ouch. The fabric seems to wear out and rip at the seams in a couple to three years. My neighbors bought some of the newer style military tent coated rubberized canvas material and recovered theirs with that and it is holding up like a champ now.

I would just buy the metal poled car port with the galvanized sheet metal roofing and call it good. They are virtually indestructable.

I'd love to have one but I just don't have a big enough lot.. if I had more room thou it would be perfect I could store, detail and work on my cars.. I would never be indoors..
