Default Return to the track

Well i finally got a few runs in before it got rained out. A little dissapointing i must say but oh well. Need to mod some more i guess. Well here goes the story...Stock i ran a 15.4 @ 84MPH. Since then i have added a few mods and here is how the story goes. Lately i have noticed my temps still running at 200ish degrees.(still working on it with ZZP). So i ran it three times with consistent high 2.1 to sub 2.2 60 foot times. All 14.5 and 92-3 mph which is about what i at least wanted or i was gonna sell it. I let it cool down a bit to get my temps about 180 so it didn't take long. Then i got the worst 60 foot and best time...2.3 almost 2.4 60ft 14.4 @ 97 MPH. Then it started raining so i never got to run it again. I figure i can probably drop that time quite a bit since i am pretty sure a tenth in your sixty foot is 2-3 tenths at the end of the 1/4. Overall ok i guess but i was hoping for a 14.2 but oh well...

I wouldnt be a bit ashamed to say your Monte ran 14.4! Thats actually a very respectable time. As far as you wanting to be quicker......well......thats a sign you been bit by the speed demon, LOL.

Good job getting your times down! With a 2.0 or 2.1 60', you would have dropped to a low 14, or maybe even 14 flat.

hopefully you can get your temp issues worked out. Are you still onoriginal dex or did you flush and switch to prestone?

Be glad to help you out on your journey if you want...where are you located?
