I was a member here before but haven’t logged on in sometime so I thought I’d revisit the new members area.. I own an Victory Red, 2003 Monte Carlo SS with the high sport appearance package. I bought the car new in April of 03 I’m just short of having 35k on the clock. I also own a 1979 Camaro Berlinetta another car I bought new and it has 12,010 miles on it. The last car I bought is an 09 Pontiac G8 GT with 9,500 miles on her. I’m in the process of trying to find shelter for my Monte. The Camaro and G8 are garage kept. I found canvas shelter for around $400.00 that would keep the sun and rain off my car. I'm 58 and have always had a love of cars. so far all my cars are stock, the G8 may soon have a supercharger and a cam swap.. fingers crossed ...

Oh and the reason my cars have low miles are I also have a 92 Town Car that’s been my DD but its old and tired so my Monte may become my DD sad to say..

Hell and Welcome back to the forum, see you joined in 2010. Been awhile, nice you have kept your Monte so pristine, those are crazy low miles for an 03, Amy aced you by a few thousand but no worries, your Monte is still cherry. The camaro looks pretty fresh still, take it to car shows and such?

I always liked the G8's, excellent platform to build a crazy wild car from. Nice group of cars you own, lucky dog!!

Thanks guys.. yeah 1955 was a good year! I remember the late 50s early 60s and how much different things are from today…. Haven’t done much with my cars over the past couple of yrs. my Monte was parked in a buddies garage all that time. my girlfriend had lung cancer so I became a 24/7 caregiver to her starting early 2012.. after two surgeries, chemo and radiation all is better she’s cancer free!! Missing half her left lung and 3 ribs on her left side but she’s gonna be fine now.
BTW anyone had experience with one of these? 10'Wx20'Lx8'H Economy Portable Garage Shelters I only have space for two cars in my garage.. I just hate to leave a nice car sitting outside all the time..
