Hello all. I'm new to the forums but not new to the Monte Carlo. I've had my 2001 SS since 2003. It's going on 104K miles now so figured problems will be beginning......unfortunately. Already posted one of my problems here. https://montecarloforum.com/m_97971/tm.htm I've had a lot fixed lately, so if anyone has similar problems, I'll let you know how to fix it if I can. I'm glad I stumbled onto the forum!

According to the portable tint meter, 23%. I paid the guy to do 25% but plain windows add that small percent. I had 5% on the back and 35% in the front sides on my old 93 Z34 Lumina. Decided to go all the same on this one so it looks even. I like it. Are those black rims in your sig pic? I want to get smoke colored rims, probably 18". Know any place I can get them cheap?

Welcome to the forum. Thats a nice 6th gen you have there. The dark black windows look good with the clean silver. You just need to do something about those stock wheels. You need some nice black aluminum wheels on there.

Welcome to the forum!

Your 2001 looks good with the black tint and silver paint. I agree with Matt (mrl390), some nice new rims would make a huge difference in the look of your car. Not that there's anything wrong with it's current look.

Yeah like I said, been lookin around at some smoke colored. I think a dark grey type of racing 18"s would look nice. Plus I can put those on my future cars. Trying to find them without spending an arm and leg on is prooving difficult though.
