Newbie Questions!
First off...great forum.
Just bought the 2002 Dale Earnhardt Monte #327 and have a couple questions...
First, I was thinking of upgrading the stereo (provided no "undo-able" mods have to be made) and was curious as to the several functions that are accessed through the head unit i.e. reset oil meter, alarm functions etc. How are these functions accessible if the head unit is replaced?
Also, has anyone with this generation MC had a problem with the headlights flickering? I only notice this at night of course, and it seems like there is a rapid switch between the headlights and the driving lights. Any input?
Thanks!

hey welcome to the site
i'm not 100% sure on the stereo stuff, but as for the headlights maybe you have a bad bulb or something
should be still under warranty isn't it??

As far as the radio goes,
To reset the oil all you have to do turn the ignition switch to the run position and press the gas pedal to the floor 3 times.
To reset the tire pressure, I think it is done by using the headlight switch.

Thanks for the replies.
I knew about the alternative ways to reset the oil and tire pressure, but there are a ton of other functions like all the alarm settings and stuff. Someone told me that there is a module that actually plugs into a wiring harness after you remove the HU.
Thanks for the tips!
