Default newbie with questions

Hey This is my first post. I am looking at a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS with a 3.8 V6 with 83,586 miles on it for $8.995. Does that seem like a good deal? Is it a good car over all? Are there any major problems I need to know about?

To me the price seems right, if the body is in perfect condition.

And yes, it's an amazing car. Anything in specific that you want to know about it? I have a 2000 SS same engine 162,xxx miles.

Sounds like a decent price, I guess, but that's being said without any kind of research. Check edmunds.com and kbb.com to see what their prices tell you.
