Default new to the site

i have a 2000 monte carlo that needs a little attention. How can i tell which window motor i need for the drivers door with out taking it off ? is there something in the VIN that would set that apart ?

Not entirely sure what you're asking. Looking on rock auto, there only appears to be 1 type of motor available.

i looked at rock auto as well and one of the options was 2 pin and the other was not, could it just be they way the vendor is describing there item ?

I think you're right- probably just how one company describes it. The plugs on the other options look identical.

They should be all the same for that year

Welcome to the MCForum. You might want to check in to getting a Service Manual for this car if you plan to keep it. They can be found on ebay usually and sometimes in a DVD format too.
