Default Car Window Keeps Falling out of Place

So I have a '97 Monte Carlo that recently got a new window motor. After a while of use, the window started popping out of place - it will stay in the up position, but when rolled down and I go over any bumps (potholes, railroad tracks), the front of the window will fall forward into the car door and the back will pop out. Sometimes, the whole thing likes to pop upward and it scares the crap out of me because it looks like it's going to fly out. Since the first couple times it happened, I have kept the window rolled up, but with no AC and my passenger window motor out now, I'm looking for a way to fix it. Having glanced around briefly online, I found that it could be one of two things: a regulator clip gone bad (I thought there might be one missing when I took the car door apart, but I'm NOT a mechanic) or the track rollers of the regulator.

I don't want to waste money on something that it couldn't be if I don't have to, but some more input on what it could be would be great. And considering this is a Monte Carlo community and I know there have been problems with Monte Carlos and windows before, I figured someone might have ran into this problem beforehand and gotten it fixed.

Thanks for your time!
Cheyenne

I would take the door panel off and check the tracks. Sometimes the screws that hold the track in place can vibrate out, and this allows the glass to move.

Just finding the screw in the bottom of the door and putting it back can possibly solve the issue.
