Welcome to the forum. I found mine at a local car dealer for only 4500. Good luck finding one!

You should easily be able to find one for under 3800.

Your Dad isn't being cheap, getting a Monte as a first car is a great Dad in my opinion.

to mcf! i agree get the ss not the ls, performance parts for the 3800 are a dime a dozen unlike the 3400. unless you dont care about mods in which case still get the 3800

I agree witht his statement my dad got me nothing for my first car, paid for it with cash it was a pile a junk Cavalier.

Shoot, cheap! I could only put down 1100. And SS can come with the 3800 V6 with/out the supercharge, which is good. Plus there ad signature series. Dale Jr and senior additions. There is another NASCAR addition, shame I forget the name. Lol. Welcome to the forum and good luck on your search!
