New member - passing through
JS, as Wayne posted earlier, he doesnt have a problem with you posting your car for sale. Im a new mod here so I am still getting used to how the site is run, but if he as no problem with you listing your car, neither do I. Id like to see the classifieds stay as a member's area to buy and sell, but I see you arent just listing your car and hitting the road, so I wont stop you from listing. Sorry to come off harsh in my first post.
No apologies necessary - I'm active on a number of forums, and fully understand why the rule is there.
Talked with my Dad, who, as I guessed, bought it off the lot. It was destined to be a showroom display car, but he fell in love with it and it never made the showroom.

Matt is doing his job. It's not easy, and as he said he's still learning the ropes. We are looking out for the good of the MCF family. We HAVE had problems, and therefore the reason for the minimums set forth. We have a long list of deleted threads & posts, as well as a long list of permanently banned members. I banned one today. The internet is full of fraud and sickos.
I will stick with what I said in my 1st post, no guarantees as to keeping it posted. Stick with us as you are, communicate as you are, and we will have no issues.
I'm looking forward to seeing some pic's of this 3rd gen. She's solid and all original?
Go ahead and make a thread in the for sale section and get things rolling. Price, etc.
BTW, welcome to the MCF family js1.

Probably wondered where I went (well, probably not)....
Weather, flat tire in garage, work and Christmas all conspired against me. Well, that's all resolved, and I now have far too many pictures, both of the good, and the bad (the rust spots) and a "walkaround" video.
The ad will be up later today. But, before I put it up, I wanted to ask your collective advice. The thing that I'm struggling with is how to put a price on it. I've been given a range of prices from "you'll pay to have it towed away" to prices that I think are unrealistic.
Can you point me to where to look for pricing info? My sister is looking for a fair price, for both parties, and realistic value. If a slightly lower price will get it moved quickly, then she's open to that.
Otherwise, is it reasonable to post it as "best reasonable offer"?

I had at one time an 86' SS core on my page which would run with a little effort but was not drivable so anyone was simply looking at it as a core body & frame (rust free and straight) he was looking for $1500 but I know walk up cash of a $1000 would take it. as for your Monte I might check with GM first and find out how many were sold with that engine option before I set a price..didn't sound standard to me.
