No cats on a 3 inch duals.
Will it pass Emissions with a good tune up?

You will have to check with MO laws. I am not sure if MO is a strick emission state...chances are, you'll fail inspection. You may even fail on high flows....see if you can borrow some cats or buy some just to pass inspection and swap them back out.

In at least NY and NJ, You need whatever came stock on the car of that year, which had a cat. In at least NJ, I am pretty sure you need a cat no matter what if your on the road except the pre 40's

in TN you have to put a car that is over 20 yrs old through emissions once......then you dont have to worry about it again and can do whatever you want to it

i just wish i had an old car to play with[:@]

yah good idea, by a universal cat and put it on...then take it back off...if you dont have to do emmissions again...if you do then i would look into getting high flow cats

I had a big bowl of red beans and rice for supper last night and been passing emissions ever since. Even my cats didn't help...they left the room running and I haven't seem them since.

Rchurch. I know the feeling...

I had an idea to buy some old school FLEX PIPE and some used cats. Just fab up some mufflers and what not becuase here in Missouri they do not do a visual look over, just a performance. If we can make it look stock then I think we will be ok.
The only problem is that my wallet doesn't have alot of thoes things called bills.... Guess everyone goes through it.
