New member info.
I bought a 01 Monte SS a few days ago. It has just over 68,000 miles and is in super condition. It even has some of that new car smell inside. I'm looking for a long relationship with the car. Its in such nice shape that I plan on taking it to some car shows.
A bit about me. I'm retired enjoy working on my cars and traveling some. Along with the Monte I own a 95 Mercedes C280 and an 84 Pontiac Fiero with over 232,000 miles. This was my show car until the Monte, so now my wife can drive the Monte to shows instead of riding in the Fiero. Right now my Fiero is in the shop for painting. Nice to have a car with a real trunk so we can carry more stuff.
I last worked in the maintenance department for Michaels in Hazleton PA. I also retired form the military in 1995 after four years in the Marine Corps, four years in the Army, and just over eighteen years in the Army National Guard in NJ.
I'm looking forward to learning about my new to me car and being able to help others along the way.
