Thanks, a local wants to trade me a clean 72 original 4 speed 350 car for the truck, which I am probably going to do unless one of the members here wants to buy/trade. He says it never had a vinyl top and just had new fenders put on, I'm just trying to figure out why a clean accident free car would need new fenders unless it had rust. Any first gen guys have some advice for me?

Thanks, that's the exact look I was going for. Unfortunately I got stuck working and the guy that was going to trade me sold the 72 to his father, so I'm still looking for a first gen, if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!
