It's probably 275 if I was guessing... But it still needs a little fine tuning. And dual exhaust will help. That 2:29 rear ratio is killing it, though..
I worked all weekend on it as he needs it soon. I put a new dryer, evaporator, heater core, condenser, etc in it, then installed the kickdown adapter linkage. Cleaned up the dust cover for the torque converter and then put brake pads and shocks on the front.. I'm still tired!
I've owned a lot of cars and trucks over the years. I grew up with family that ran a junk yard, wrecker service and sold used cars. I used to sit in my uncle's office and read his Chilton manuals on 60's cars when I was 7-9 years old lol.
Notable cars I've owned: 1976 Gran Prix, 1964 2-dr post Biscayne, 1973 Nova SS, 1972 Cheyenne LWB (1st one), 1984 Monte Carlo and now another 1972 Cheyenne that was also my dad's before he passed. Doing a frame off resto on it now that is going way too slow..
