My 04 monte Carlo has been sputtering for roughly about two weeks.I jave noticed that when the temp gauge rise to half way she would sputter.Please help me to trouble shoot.I don't have any kind of money to do a big spend right now

 

Since it's only when the car is warmed up, it's probably a sensor somewhere. Do you have any check engine lights?

2 common sputtering sensors are the MAF and the oxygen sensor.

 

I have cleanes the MAF with MAF Cleaner,still a light jerk but not as bad.I will check the oxygen sensor.FYI there is no check engine light on

 

One thing you could do is put in a small bottle of Lucas oil fuel system cleaner.
Might help some and will improve the mileage.
This is something one can do to keep the car running better.
Also change the fuel filter if that has not been done It is good to do about 25-30K.
Right in front of the MAF is the Air filter, it is good to change that every time you change your oil.
