01’ Monte Carlo 3.4 liter, my son took over my grandmothers car and we noticed the gas peddle is very loose. We checked the cable and it has about 1/2 of slack to sit up right. We checked around online but can’t find a replacement. Does anyone have any advice and lead us into the right direction to fix the problem ?? Thanks in advance

 

Press the throttle down all the way while watching the throttle body. Does the throttle body open all the way? Theres supposed to be some slack. As long as it opens all the way, there shouldnt be a problem.
