Well, this p1404 is getting me
. Ive cleaned the valve, the spring loaded piece inside seems to move freely, or at least i can easliy push it in. Ive tried the tricks from searching, unplugging clearing code, key off then plug back in, yeah it came back in like a few minutes, being set twice. Guess its time to cough up 150 bones for a new one.

Took a 60 +/- round trip today after clearing the p1404 code. Engine light never came back on and there was no pending code after i got home either. Could i be this lucky.
Car also has a slight clunk in front end, sometime on acceleration or turning. Wheres a good point to start looking, or what to look for?
The 2 upper motor mounts at the front of the engine are for sure good, I had those out a few days ago when i replaced the radiator fan assembly.

Welcome to the MCF. You are correct, this is a very friendly site. They even welcomed a Mopar guy and made him feel at home.![Congrats](https://montecarloforum.com/forum/images/smilies/congrats.gif)
As far as your front end noise I'd check and do a few things. Check all your motor mounts. Check your cv joints/axels. Get the transmission serviced. Good luck.
