Hey all,
20 or so long years after getting rid of my beloved ‘83 MC, all the while being sad when seeing a rare G-body, I finally found one at an agreeable price, mere 5 hours away! (A black 84.)
The night before driving out to see it for the first time, I could barely sleep.
I’ve had it for two weeks. I’ve washed the engine, repaired the door pull handle, vacuumed it out good, gave it a premium wash, topped off oil, transmission and coolant fluids. No leaks!
I feel like I didn’t just buy a Monte but a little piece of a dream.
I’m 45, my first car was a 78 Monte, followed by an 83 (AKA Warthog), and now this ‘84.
