Same thing happens to mine sometimes. I have to sort of jiggle the key a little to get it to turn. Sort of figured the PO was one of those people that has everything but the kitchen sink on their key ring and it did it's toll on the cylinder. Hasn't happened as much recently as it did when I first got the car. **knocks on wood**

Just a thought, does the car start since you replaced the ignition switch? Not sure if you replaced the whole thing, but most people change the cylinder and leave the rest alone. Possibly the car needs to relearn the key? Wish you luck getting it sorted out.
