Default Howdy!

Hi all, I have a 05 monte carlo lt, jsut got a used supercharged engine from a Grand Prix GTP, with trans and all, jsut wondering what other parts i would need aside from computer, intake etc.

it was a 2003 GTP, some people are saying that the computer might not like the swap? the BCM or something like that.

Yeah you will need the PCM to be reflashed with your VIN

I got a dyno tuned computer with the engine as well as a zzp downpipe and zzp headers. would i still need to get it flashed?

If your PCM doesn't have your VIN then it needs to be flashed. If your tuned PCM is for the NA car then it needs to be retuned with a new OS to take advantage of sensors that exist. Would make more sense to use the GTP computer and flash your VIN to that.

So you'll need to know someone who can update that PCM to put your Monte VIN in so that the PCM and the BCM will talk to each other.
