Default just wondering

I was wondering if grand prixs are geared a little different then our montes, it kinda seems that they have a little more get up and go then our cars or is it just me, and they are the same.

My GTP has different gearing than my Monte and I notice that a little bit. I think if you take a GP and MC with the same engine and trans they should be pretty equal.

One thing I've learned, GM may give you 100% the same engine and trans, but they can completely change the feel and power output in the tuning on the PCM. This is probably so the cars are different in the sales market. I know my Monte has some huge tuning differences between it's stock tune and a 2000 Monte (in my opinion, negative tuning on my end).

Hope that makes sense.
