Lol no wz means high sport engine number is like 8 or 9th number in vin to tell what motor you have. I just looked it up.

Liking the guages they look sweet.

 

By 04 GM dropped the Limited Edition cluster. Starting in 04 the Supercharged models automatically got the ground effects package, 17" 5 spoke diamond cut rims and "NASCAR" type spoiler. GM made things simpler in 05 by designating the SS model supercharged.

 

Idk where you guys get all these facts cuz I have seen many 05 Monte Carlo ss that are not supercharged.

 

All 05 SSs are supercharged - LS = 3.4L, LT = 3.8 L36, SS = 3.8 L67

It's possible people changed the badging (as I know some people were not happy knowing had the car been bought in '04 a non-supercharged Monte woulda have been a factory SS). As Amy mentioned, GM changed the trim level line up in '05. In '05 and SS Monte MUST have a Supercharger.

You can see the trim level and engine information begin on bottom of page 1 and a chart on top of page 3. On the bottom portion of page #2, it states "LT Model (supersedes 2004 SS model)".

 

Am I following correct that where it says "Supercharged" is a decal or is the entire speedo overlay a custom one?

Either way it's a badass touch to the guage cluster.
