Hello all Monte Carlo SS lovers
My name is Shannon and let's just say that I'm a middle aged worman who loves my montes. My 1st Monte Carlo was a 1977 Blue/White with White captain swivel seats!! (sweet) and it had a 350 engine!! Nice!!
Had that for 12 +yrs till I wrecked it! Then I bought another Monte later in life it was a 2000 BLue LS.. fabric seats but not as fast but it was a nice ride.. I took real good care of it and had it several yrs and sold it at
165k miles on it. Never gave me any trouble. Then I bought a silver 2006 Monte Carlo SS.... Sweet!! 5.3 with 303HP. I also wrecked it driving in snow on a highway and ran into a huge tree in a vineyard.
I was ok but the passenger side was a total loss... Engine was still in great shape.. wished I had kept it, even tho it had a salvaged title.. then found another Monte Carlo SS 06 and flew to Kentucky to pick it up
and drive back to Tulsa. Loved that ride.. to this day I still have that same Monte. Will never sell it... Just want to do some updates to it.
My hobbies are going to casino and dining out with friends.. and learning more about my cars... I even switched out the alternator and a belt with the help of a friend. Oh yea!! I forgot to mention that I still have the
tire iron from my 2000 Monte Carlo I used to jump start my alternator when it was cold!!! LOL Well that is it for me.. I wish I could find just the SS monte that they made years ago... not many of those around.
Cant wait to get into some articles about how to's on the Monte..
