Ok I have been on forums before but this one looks cool. I just bought my first Monte an 06 SS (5.3L). Black on black and this thing rocks. Anyway a little about me I am 33 and the list of GM's i have owned are as followed.

1970 Nova - 2dr Yellow

1972 Nova - 4dr ( 350)WHite

1995 Grand AM White

1997 Grand AM GT Black

1991 Sunbird - White

1991 Cavelier - Blue

2001 Sunfire

2006 Monte Carlo SS Black.

I'm new here also....I just bought a 2004 Monte SS....Awesome Awesome car....I actually never drove a chevy before...I know this is wrong to say on a chevy site but my other cars were all Ford...LOL

Maybe I'm changing my ways....

Thanks Kim, the 04 is a great car. I actually went away from Chevy and GM after I was going to get a Colorado. I t was the biggest junk I ever saw and I was turned off. after that I went on to own two Dodge trucks and 2 Mitsu eclipse's (2002 and 2006). My 06 eclipse was cool and all but I needed a car that screams speed. So I went back to chevy and since the vet was to much I settled for the SS after all you can't go wrong with that. Anway what type of Found on road deads did you have? I mean ford's

 

Don't feel so bad, this was my first Chevy too. I've always been a Nissan/Ford owner.

Yeh I must admit its been awhile but I am glad I went back to a chevy. I never had problems with GM's but always thought they were over priced.

 

Hey whats up....

I had a 2000 cougar which was my baby....I really loved that car but I wanted something larger yet sporty...The monte really had to be the way to go...We still have a 2000 ford mustang GT and a 1992 Chevy S10 blazer in our car family. I'm really loving the monte though...What a different ride from the cougar...It's so smooth...you don't even feel bumps in the road anymore....
