Hello hELLO
Whats up everyone. Just recently joined MCF. I have an 01 SS and am interested in sharing my knowledge and acquiring you guys' knowledge as well.

Figured I would expand a little bit on my post
Bought the car brand new in Sept 2000 and it is now on the brink of 100k. Nothing mechanical has ever went wrong with the car I have took great car of this car(keeping fingers crossed). Electrical has been a lil more tricky. My drivers side seat doesnt go up anymore. drivers side heated seat no longer works. I dont think the tire pressure monitors ever worked correctly (always said I had low tire pressure when all tires were correct.) Now my drivers side tail light doesn't work but the brake light works????? prob contact or wire.
Added 20' inch rims in 05 rubs a little across bumps.
Added Alpine IWA 200 6.5 DVD/CD player last year(I did a custom install looks real good)
will post more pics soon.

I'm sure you and ur SS will fit in nicely!
The tire pressure warning is because of your upgraded rims. The car measures turns of the wheels versus turns of the transmission to calculate if the tire pressure has changed. Your larger wheels will throw off that reading and cause the pressure sensor to trip. The 7th gens actually have a frustrating little unit that rides with the valve stem to measure pressue. They have their own problems of course (battery issues, etc)
You will need to have someone reprogram the computer to accept a different number of revolutions, if they cant turn off the monitor. I know my Dealer was able to reprogram my car to accept a different PSI level. They did that with warranty work, so no charge, but you might have to pay. If so, I would look at a local shop with a tuner. They might be able to change it for you, and correct speedo readout incase that would have been changed significantly.
The electrical troubles I'm afraid I can't be much of a help with. The best bet there is to start checking connections etc.
