I'm new here, my name is Leeli (pronounced lee lee), I'm a nurse, married to a mechanic for 13 years, 3 kids, I love my Chevys. I have a 97' Lumina that is waiting for me to get her a new tranny, and for the past year I've owned a 2002 Monte Carlo, 3400. It's salvaged and a previous owner messed her up good, she gives me nothing but problems, but she's all I got right now. I know she has the potential to be a great car if I ever get all the bugs out. When my lumina gets fixed the Monte will get passed over to the hubby, if he doesn't burn it first.

Thank you, probably won't burn it, but if somebody tries to hit me in a parking lot I'm not gonna waste my time on evasive maneuvering. I haven't been able to explore yet and figure out all the features, saw a garage but couldn't figure that out. My Lumina has been towed to my hubby's work, so hopefully she'll be back on the road soon and we can park the Monte long enough to do some serious work on it.

 

Welcome to the forum. I am sure eventually you will get it working fine. I used to have a lumina as well. It was my first car and it was a great car as well as the monte.
