Headlight Relay

healight Relay "Replacement." 2001 chevy monte carlo ss
where is it located? I have no Low beams

I was able to change the delay relay, but cant seem to find where the headlight realy goes, i know it's at the drivers side (inside) fuse panel, but I do not see it- It says Inside Cover?? I need help please.

Didn't help much. I know where the fuse panel say's it is, but I just don't see it!
It's like finding the power steering fluid cap- its way down and under. cant see it - Have to feel for it. CRAZY!

Hi Wendy,
Don't give up. I hope that one of our expert member's still see's your post > problem & can help..
Behind the fuse box on the drivers side. there is a clip on the top of the fuse box that retains it in the car. It runs on 2 rails on the left side of the box. Depress the clip and pull out the entire box. On the back side are 2 relays the smaller one is the relay for the headlights. It is also the same relay as the horn that is in the engine compartment. Swap them to test.

Default Fuse Holder

Still having a hard time to pull out - the silver Clip only held the yellow thing in place, I see no other clips. I might try to access from under. if I can get down on the floor in a weird position...

OK with help, I was able to change the Relay - but still no low beams, a friend seems to think it's in the directional switch. There is power at the bulbs when tested. so the switch will be changed next. and I hope thats it! I can't afford all these fixes.

I have the same issue and I’m hoping it’s the relay. Where was the relay located? Also, what was the issue?
