Default Headlight Relay

I recently installed HIDs headlights for both low & high beam. Unfortunately, the low beams don't stay on when I turn on the high beams. I got a relay kit to turn both low beams & high beams on together but it does not work because the lights tie in with the BCM. Has anyone figured out a way to overcome this problem?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

Try this courtesy of BBEngineering a few years ago. Got the same mod on my list of to do things this winter. And as it says, do this at your own risk!

i can only imagine having high and low beam hid's on at the same time is like having the sun crashing towards you. it doesn't make sense to have both running the same time, unless you still have halogens.

i have low beam hid's now, but plan on getting the highs done in the next few months. the only problem i see is having you highs running all day and prematurely wearing out, since technically you drl is gone. isn't there a company that makes something to safely turn off your drl without messing with the wiring?

Well I installed HID's in high & low beams. When I want to turn on the high beams it takes about 10 seconds for the bulb to heat up. So for that 10 second period I have no lights. That's why I'd like the low beams to stay on when I turn on the high beams.
