Default another new person

Hi, my name is Brett. I am 13 years old. I'm from Connecticut.

I just bought my first car, a 1983 Chevy Monte Carlo. Here's the story:
The guy that we bought it from is my uncle's friend. He told us about the car. From what the guy told us, he bought it from some one for $3000. He said he wanted at least half of that. My dad tried to lower the price, so he told him that I was paying for it. So he lowered it to $1000, and that is what we bought it for. It has been sitting for 12 years under a car cover on a concrete pad. Absolutely no rust. He only put 32 miles on it in that 12 years he has had it. But 12 years ago, the gas must have been good because when we tried to start it, it started right up after we put a new battery in it.

-about 71000 miles on it.
-V8 305
-T-Tops
-electric seats, windows, door locks
-am/fm stereo radio
-cruise control

I think we are going to paint it white. We were going to paint it like Dale Earnhardt's car, but I changed my mind. I want to get a ZZ4 355hp 350ci GM Performance Parts Crate Engine. If me and my dad are willing to spend $3,788.99 on it, we will buy it. We are going to make it look like an SS with a new front nose, 1988 rear bumper and taillights, and a lay-down spoiler.

Here are some pictures of it:

And yes, this is me. I had to do this. I had to stop because a car was coming (remember, I am 13).

You have to admit, it's nice for an old grandma car.

By the way, the hand in the burnout picture is my dad's.
