Welcome! The Chevy 5.7L (350) is always a GREAT engine choice. Super reliable, and tons of aftermarket!

Welcome to the site! I'd drop a 350 in it if you are trying to make it look stock.

Welcome aboard from a fellow 4th-gen owner! I've been through a few engine combos with my Montes over the years (stock, and a built 305). My current one has a ZZ4-cammed 355 with Tuned Port fuel injection on top - it's the most fun yet! What's your goal with the car - a stock-appearing resto, or modified?

Welcome and 350 of course...this engines have been build so many times over the years that parts for them are cheap and you can make good hp with them.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the welcomes.

I am looking to keep it stock looking on the outside, but still give it some power when I step on the gas. I"ve been looking into 350's for the most part. Like everyone has said, plenty of after market and its a good strong heart for my monte.

I'll get some pic's up soon.
