Whats going on people?

Lets see, I have a 1985 monte carlo SS that my mom bought brand spanking new back in the day. When I turned 18 she handed it over to me and I've had it ever since (10 years now). I am currently restoring it with my wife and we are still trying to figure out what motor to put into it, exhaust, etc. I'm hoping here I can get some good ideas/feedback to help me get this baby looking and driving good.

take care

Actually I don't have any pic's of it right now.. But I'll see what I can do about that.. its sitting on jack stands for a few days now. I've been putting all new rubber under the car when i get free time.

which free time is hard to get these days...

Welcome to the MCF family.
As for the engine, there's no replacement for displacement. Go for a bored n stroked big block! Got a friend that built a 596 from a 454. On the other hand, the new LS small blocks crank out more power than ANY old small block EVER put out stock. LS2s are plentiful and powerful. Good start.
