Default 2007 Seat removal

I am new on here but not new to my 2007. I want to install a sub woofer under the back seat and replace the stock speakers in the package tray. I need to know how to remove the rear seat. Any help appreciated.

Think the bench seat you pull up on it pretty hard and it will snap out of position. There will be bolts you can then see holding the back rest in place. Watch some You Tube videos on the Montes or the Impalas seat removal for a visual on this procedure.

Maybe it has 2 Fasteners under the rear seat cushion probably a 1/2 or 9/16 or metric similar. you should be able to see them from the floor mat view. Unscrew them and save then remove the seat cushion. Then the back rest has 2 as well remove and save them. Lift up on the back rest . Might be a clip on or around the arm rest as well? once out you should be able to get at the rear deck pad. it should lift up and out. If the speaker grills have screws in them you might need to remove them as well.

(1) Welcome. (2) It may be a little late at this point but the rear seat bottom just clips down with retainers - all you do to remove it is firmly pull up. Once that's removed, the seat back bolts that hold that in place are visible at the bottom.
