Default Seat removal?

I have a 98 Monte Z34,I need to remove the driver seat to get under the carpet (dropped a tool).
I see some GM "genius" used Torx bolts to hold the seat to the floor.
While I can remove the front ones, the rear bolts seem to be totally inaccessible no matter how I adjust the power seat.
Any ideas?

Never mind, one of the height adjuster motors came loose, blocking the seat from moving forward, used a screwdriver to lift it and got it.

They can be fun to remove I have had them out a few times, and the Console is a fun one as well.

I had the center console out today....not as bad as I thought. I'm still trying to resolve an issue with the shifter.

I'm having the same problem, only my seat is stuck all the way back and won't budge. Pretty difficult for my 5'1'' wife to drive lol. Is there a way to manually move it forward? Im pretty sure the motor is dead but can't access anything to even think about repair/replacement

You can see if this works for you to manually move the seat, I had to do this in a Buick once

Wow, thanks for the quick reply!
So I stuck my head under there to try and figure out how to disconnect those flexible drive cables, and discovered the harness was disconnected from the 3rd motor! I have no idea how that happened, but I plugged it back in and everything works just fine.

Here is a little tip I got at the Salvage yard. The fellow told me to use a 9 volt battery to hook up to the wiring harness clip and it was a success. I just unhooked the clip and plugged in the wire I got for the 9 volt at Radio Shack and it all worked. If you do this bring several with you it will drain the 9 volt I think it took 1 to go back and 2 to go forward.
