Ordered my '06 Monte SS a while ago - been told it's all built and has been shipped to my dealer - should get it in about a week or so (I hope!)

I'll be sure to post pics when I get it...

laser blue metallic - ebony leather interior w/power, heated seats - convenience package with power, heated mirrors, auto rearview mirror, etc - power sunroof - bright polished 18" rims...

talked to my dealer last night - now they're telling me that apparently there is a shipping problem!!! my car's been built for 2-3 weeks now... and now it's just sitting with the rest of their cars somewhere... he says they're aware of it, and pissed cuz they're paying for these cars to just sit there - whereever "there" is... I'm supposed to call him again this morning to find out what's going on - he said they were having a meeting this morning and should have an update on the issue...

told him I want/need the car by this weekend, as I sold my van to my brother-in-law and he's taking it for a trip thanksgiving week...

this sucks!! LOL

Hi all... well, I couldn't wait! so I took a few pics of my new Monte - dirty and all - LOL. It finally came in on Wed 11/23 - then of course it had to snow, so it got all dirty driving it on turkey day... oh well, once I get her cleaned up, I'll take more pics...

Looks good! Just curious, is that a tiny GM badge behind the front tires? if not, what is it?

yes sir - it most certainly is a GM badge - no color to it, just all chrome... contemplating taking it off or not - dunno yet. gotta wait for it to warm up some outside so I can wash the whole car well and see what I feel like doing with it, if anything. It doesn't really bother me...
