07 monte
I'm new to the newer Monte's...I have an 07 LT with a 3.5 and blown up transmission..my question is will 5.3 engine and trans from an 06 impala work?..I do know the platforms are pretty much the same,but sometimes there are some odd differences that come up..thanks

Welcome to the forum.
To the best of my knowledge the engine/trans and wiring for a 07 Monte LS4 is the same as an 06 Impala LS4. I am not aware of any differences. You might want to check various sites that offer interchange data just to be certain.
